Graduate school can sometimes feel alienating given the amount of work you do. It’s important for graduate students to reach out to their friends and colleagues and take advantage of all the resources that campus partners such as Student Experience and SGPS, your department, and your student leadership have to offer. After all, we are in this together.
This Community section is a central resource that overviews a range of ways to connect with others and the Western community. Having fun, connecting with others, and engaging with the campus community are integral components to thriving in graduate school. Be sure to carve out time to enjoy yourself, try new experiences, and meet new people! There are many opportunities for you to have fun and meet friends on campus and in the London community.
