Jenny oversees the Own Your Future program and supports graduate students to recognize the value of their degrees for diverse and meaningful careers both within and beyond academia. Jenny works collaboratively with campus-wide program partners and subject matter experts to curate a program of workshops and learning experiences across five pillars of professional development: career engagement, communication & relationship building, teaching & learning, leadership, and thriving (wellness & wellbeing). A recent graduate of Western’s doctorate in education (Ed.D, Educational Leadership), Jenny is committed to helping grad students translate academic experience for practical impact.
